NEET UG Exam Date: Candidates were facing technical issues in filling the form of NEET (UG) – 2024. Students who filled the form were facing difficulty in logging in with Aadhar card details. Now NTA has extended the deadline for NEET UG registration.
NEET UG 2024 Registration Extension:
National Testing Agency (NTA) has given big relief to those candidates who were not able to register for NEET UG 2024 till now. NTA has extended the online registration deadline for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET UG 2024). Eligible candidates can apply for UG Medical Entrance Exam till 16 March.
There was a problem in NEET UG form. Earlier, the last date for NEET UG 2024 online registration was 09 March. But meanwhile the candidates were facing technical issues in filling the form. Students filling the form were facing difficulty in logging in with Aadhaar card details.
Students were also facing problems in receiving OTP on mobile after logging in by entering Aadhar card number.
Fill NEET UG form till March 16:
Now, giving relief to those candidates, NTA has decided to extend the last date of registration till 16th March. Those candidates who were not able to apply can now apply by visiting the official website of NT NEET UG, Exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. The NTA notification states that applications can be submitted till 10:50 pm on March 16 and the examination fee can be paid till 11:50 pm.
The notice issued by NTA reads, ‘There will be no change in the rules and conditions of the examination as compared to last year, except the syllabus which was notified earlier. The revised information bulletin of NEET UG has also been uploaded. In case of any difficulty while applying for NEET, candidates can contact NEET UG helpline 011-40759000 or write an email to neet@nta.ac.in. They have been asked to visit Exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/ and nta.ac.in websites for latest updates.
NEET UG 2024 Registration: How To Apply
Step 1. Go to the official website of NTA exams.nta.ac.in.
Step 2. Click on NEET UG 2024 direct link on the home page.
Step 3. Click on new login and fill the details.
Step 4. After this fill the form and upload your documents.
Step 5. Pay the form filling fee.
Step 6. Click on the submit button and download it for future reference.
Application fee:
The last date for successful transaction of fee through Credit/Debit Card/Net-Banking/UPI is March 9, 2024 at 11:50 PM. General category and NRI candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹ 1,700. Whereas, General-EWS/OBC-NCL candidates will have to pay ₹1,600 and SC/ST/PWBD/Third Gender candidates will have to pay ₹1,000.
What after registration?
As per the given information, as soon as the registration is closed, the correction window will open to correct the mistakes made while filling the form. The date of opening of correction window and release of admit card will be informed later on the website.
NEET UG exam will be held on 05 May:
The exam is scheduled to be held on May 5, 2024 from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. The duration of the exam is 200 minutes. The results of the medical entrance examination will be declared on 14 June 2024.
