If you’re preparing for the NEET exam, you may be thinking how many marks are required to clear it??

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a calendar for upcoming exams, and the NEET 2024 exam will be held on 5th May 2024.

The notification and form filling date for NEET 2024 will start from January 2024. Many students have already started their preparations.

The minimum marks required for MBBS admission depend on the category of students.

  • For unreserved category students, the minimum cut-off percentile is 50%.
  • For SC/ST or Physically disabled students, the cut-off percentile is 40%.

To get an idea of the required marks for MBBS in NEET, we can refer to the previous year’s cut-off.

In NEET 2023, the MBBS cut-off score was 720-137, with a cut-off percentile of 50%. 

For the EWS/PH/UR category, the cut-off score was 136-121, with a percentile of 45%. 

For the OBC category, the cut-off score was 136-107, with a cut-off percentile of 40%.

NEET 2024: Physics Weightage for NEET Exam

It’s important to note that these cut-off scores and percentiles may vary from year to year, depending on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam and the number of candidates appearing. So, it’s always a good idea to aim for a score higher than the minimum cut-off to increase your chances of admission.
